Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Helix Rust website, game servers, Discord community, and any related services (collectively, the "Services") operated by Helix Rust ("we", "us", "our"). By accessing or using the Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Services.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use the Services. If you are under 18, you may only use the Services with the consent and supervision of a parent or legal guardian. By purchasing any product, you represent that you have the legal capacity to enter into a binding contract.

2. Account & Authentication

The Services authenticate users via Steam OpenID. You are responsible for safeguarding access to your Steam account. We are not responsible for any activity occurring under your Steam account.

3. Purchases & Virtual Items

  • All purchases — including ranks, kits, and other in-game perks — grant a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the corresponding feature in our game servers. You do not acquire ownership of any virtual item or currency.
  • Subscriptions automatically renew at the price disclosed at checkout until cancelled. You may cancel at any time from your Account dashboard. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
  • Prices are listed in USD unless otherwise noted. Payment processing is handled by our payment provider, PayNow.
  • We reserve the right to change pricing, add or remove products, and modify perks at any time. Changes do not affect already-completed purchases.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use cheats, exploits, automation, or third-party software to gain an unfair advantage.
  • Harass, threaten, dox, or impersonate other players, staff, or Helix Rust.
  • Sell, trade, or transfer purchased items or accounts to third parties.
  • Reverse-engineer, scrape, or interfere with the Services.
  • Use the Services for any unlawful purpose.

5. Bans & Account Termination

We may suspend or permanently ban your access to any Service — including forfeiture of any virtual items or remaining subscription time — for any violation of these Terms or server-specific rules. Bans for cheating, evasion, harassment, or chargeback fraud are non-refundable.

6. Refunds

Refund eligibility is governed by our Refund Policy.

7. Chargebacks

Initiating a payment chargeback or dispute without first contacting our support results in immediate and permanent account termination across all Helix Rust services.

8. Intellectual Property

The Helix Rust name, logo, and original content are our property. Rust is a trademark of Facepunch Studios; we are not affiliated with or endorsed by Facepunch.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Services are provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. We do not guarantee uninterrupted server availability, data preservation between wipes, or any specific gameplay experience.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim arising out of or relating to the Services is limited to the amount you paid us in the 30 days preceding the claim.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms periodically. Material changes will be announced in our Discord community. Continued use of the Services after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
